Underwriter - Residential Real Estate Wholesaling
We are a residential real estate wholesaling company looking for an experienced Underwriter to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and underwrite residential real estate deals
- Run comparable sales (comps) and determine After Repair Value (ARV)
- Estimate repair/rehab costs and calculate maximum allowable offer (MAO)
- Assess deal spre, margins, and risk
- Provide clear, data-backed recommendations on whether to pursue a deal
- Maintain organized records of underwritten deals
- Prior experience underwriting or analyzing residential real estate deals (wholesaling experience a strong plus)
- Strong understanding of ARV, comps, rehab estimates, and MAO calculations
- Familiarity with US real estate markets and tools (MLS, Zillow, PropStream, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work US business hours
