SOC Analyst with Security Clearance

To support the Department of Defense Education Activity's Enterprise Cyber Program, the remote SOC Analyst with Security Clearance will monitor network traffic, manage security incidents, and utilize SIEM tools during scheduled night and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for signs of malicious activity
• Manage incidents throughout their lifecycle, including analysis, triage, containment, and remediation
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and support SIEM detection strategies

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including SOC operations and incident response
• Active Security+ Certification
• Experience with SIEM tools, such as Microsoft Sentinel
• Expertise in analyzing network packets and server logs for malicious activity
• Active Secret security clearance
