Remote Occupational Therapist in TX

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth services. This role supports K-12 students across an itinerant district caseload in San Antonio, TX, with an immediate start date through May 27, 2027.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing occupational therapy services via telehealth and onsite in schools
• Collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attending Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Supervising and guiding Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Managing a diverse caseload of students with varying therapeutic needs

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in the school setting, particularly working K-12
• Skilled in telehealth delivery methods for therapy services
• Comfortable managing and preparing documentation for ARD meetings
• Ability to support and mentor COTA staff effectively
• Strong organizational and communication skills
