• Drive support: create engaging content that inspires donations, volunteer involvement, and adoptions.

Qualifications

• Social media expertise – good knowledge and hands‑on experience with various platforms.
• Genuine passion – a love of dogs, a strong commitment to animal rescue, and a natural ability to foster a positive online community.
• Effective communicator – excellent written communication skills, capable of crafting warm, concise, and on‑brand messages.
• Creative eye – basic graphic design and video editing abilities (e.g., using Canva or phone apps).
• Proactive & empathetic – a responsive and initiative‑taking approach, combined with a deep understanding and compassion for others.

What You’ll Do

• Be the warm, accurate voice of SpRC, delighting our community by promptly responding to comments and messages across all platforms, celebrating supporters, and nurturing lasting loyalty.
• Step up as the vigilant protector of our reputation by expertly moderating our channels, swiftly removing harmful or false comments, and managing disruptive users to uphold the charity’s values.
• Be a proactive force for good, seeking out and engaging with spaniel and rescue‑related content across the web to expand our organic reach and connect with new potential supporters.
• Bring our mission to life through compelling stories and spotlights on volunteers, fosterers, and adopters, sharing unposed photos/video that showcase our rescue work.
